Haptic script compatibility
Compatible Haptic Script Playback Setups
Velvet Kinetics scripts can work with compatible players and devices across Intiface, The Handy, Lovense, Kiiroo, We-Vibe, Satisfyer, and OSR/SR setups. Compatibility depends on your exact model and connection.
Compatibility depends on the complete setup
How compatibility works
Three things need to work together
Your player must read the script, your connection must reach the device, and the device must support the motion used by the script.
1. Script and matching media
Velvet Kinetics supplies the haptic script file. The matching media is obtained separately and remains under the user's control.
2. Playback app
Your playback app must load the script format, keep it synchronized, and connect to your chosen device setup.
3. Bridge and connection
Some setups connect directly. Others rely on Intiface, a manufacturer app, a network connection, Bluetooth, or another bridge supported by the player.
4. Device and configuration
Your exact device, firmware, available controls, axis mapping, and settings determine what motion it can reproduce.
Bridge software
What Intiface does
Intiface is commonly used as a local connection layer between compatible haptic playback software and supported devices. In that kind of stack, the player reads the script and sends commands through Intiface to the connected hardware.
Check that your playback app supports Intiface and that Intiface detects the controls needed for the script. Detecting a device does not guarantee every motion or channel will work.
Popular device ecosystems
Check your exact model before joining
These are popular haptic playback options, not a universal supported-device list. Confirm your model, firmware, connection, and player before joining or commissioning.
Intiface
Intiface can act as the local bridge between compatible playback software and supported hardware. Detection alone does not prove full script compatibility.
Check before use
Confirm that the exact device is recognized, the required controls are exposed, and the playback app supports the Intiface connection you plan to use.
The Handy
The Handy can be used with players that support its script playback and connection method.
Check before use
Player support, network or local connection mode, device firmware, script loading, and synchronization behavior can all affect the result.
Lovense
Some Lovense devices can participate in haptic script playback through a compatible app, bridge, or player integration.
Check before use
Support varies by model and control type. A vibration-capable device may not reproduce linear motion or every scripted channel.
Kiiroo
Kiiroo compatibility depends on the exact device and whether the chosen player or bridge can address its available controls.
Check before use
Check model support, firmware, connection method, player integration, and whether the script's motion style maps usefully to the device.
We-Vibe
Some We-Vibe models may work through supported Intiface or app-based playback paths.
Check before use
Brand-level support is not universal. Model detection, Bluetooth behavior, available vibration controls, and bridge support can differ.
Satisfyer
Some Satisfyer devices may be available to compatible playback software through supported connection or bridge layers.
Check before use
Verify the exact model and exposed capabilities. Device families can use different controls and may not map to every script style.
OSR / SR setups
OSR, SR6, and related multi-axis or DIY setups can use scripts when the player, firmware, interface, and axis configuration work together.
Check before use
Firmware forks, serial or network interfaces, axis naming, range limits, homing, and user-built hardware can materially change behavior.
Playback software
Example local playback software
These third-party players are examples for local script playback. Velvet Kinetics does not provide or maintain them, and their features and requirements can change.

Review third-party playerDevice, firmware, app, and connection limitations
- A listed brand does not mean every model from that brand works.
- A device appearing in Intiface or another bridge does not guarantee that every control channel is usable.
- Firmware and manufacturer-app updates can change discovery, pairing, commands, or connection stability.
- Playback apps differ in script formats, device integrations, synchronization, multi-axis handling, and operating-system support.
- Bluetooth, USB, serial, local network, cloud, and browser connections have different requirements and failure points.
- Single-axis, vibration, rotation, and multi-axis devices may interpret or map the same script differently.
- Velvet Kinetics does not provide or maintain third-party player, bridge, device, or firmware software.
Local file naming
Many local playback apps expect the video and script to share the same base filename, with the script using the .funscript extension.

ExampleVideo.funscript
Naming and folder rules vary by player. Follow the documentation for the app you choose.

Compatibility guidance grows with real testing
Velvet Kinetics uses device details and tester feedback to improve this guidance. If your exact setup is not listed, confirm that your player, connection, and device work together before purchasing.
